England is the most successful nation in the history of the 6 Nations Rugby tournament. They have won the title outright 25 times and have shared victory 10 times. England’s lean period in the tournament was in its early days, when they did not win the trophy for 18 years between 1892 and 1910.
During the 6 Nations, England also contests the Calcutta Cup against Scotland and the Millennium Trophy against Ireland. The England versus France match is traditionally referred to as Le Crunch.
